Hazard
The product presents a high risk of injuries as it is not fitted with an interlocker and the cover to the device could be removed whilst in operation. A hand could be placed in the blade whilst it is in operation.
The product required improvements to marking, labelling and documentation. It had not been supplied with a clear, understandable and intelligible set of instructions to ensure the safe and correct assembly, installation, use and maintenance of the equipment.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016 or the Plugs & Sockets (Safety) Regulations 1994.
