Hazard
The product presents a serious risk of suffocation due to the possibility of the user becoming trapped between the rail bumper and the cot side or between the bumper and the cot mattress. If a child under 3 is placed on the cot in between the bumpers and then moves, their face may become pressed between the inflatable part of the product and the mattress or cot side and/or mattress, causing them to suffocate.
Additionally, the presence of the attachment straps presents a potential strangulation hazard. The product is stated as being intended for toddlers, but the marketing materials show the product being used by a very young baby.
The product does not meet the requirements of the General Product Safety Regulations 2005.
