Hazard
The product presents a high risk of fire as the fuse had insecurely fixed endcaps. Under fault conditions, the fuse may not operate effectively and could lead to the product overheating and igniting, causing a fire. Improvements are also required to marking, labelling and documentation.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016 or the Plugs & Sockets etc. (Safety) Regulations 1994.
Corrective action
The import has been rejected at the border and destroyed.
