Hazard
The product presents a serious risk of choking and asphyxiation as it has been identified that the orange rings connecting the hanging toys to the arch measured greater than the maximum permitted 30mm. The orange rings, and banana teether both protruded past the base of the template they should fit into and is therefore of a certain shape/size that could press on the back of the throat of a small child who is too young to sit up unaided. This means that either component could become impacted in their airway and potentially cause a blockage. The product was also missing some of the required documentation and markings.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Toys (Safety) Regulations 2011.
Corrective action
The import has been rejected at the border.
