Hazard

Risk of injury to service personnel as there is potential for the front pivot bolts assembled to the Vibrating Grizzly Feeder (VGF) Mesh deck to become loose or completely detached.

Loose or detached bolts may allow the mesh panel to slide from its normal operating position.

Corrective action

A redesigned new pivot mesh deck fastener arrangement is being implemented as part of a TEREX campaign.

Terex issued a Safety Notice for the Powerscreen PT450 model to their dealer network on 21st November 2024.
