Hazard
The product presents a serious risk of electric shock as the earthing on the appliance is inadequate due to the protective earth input wire being easily detachable. The product also failed the earth bond test. The user could touch a live metal part of the product and receive an electric shock under fault conditions. The product also required improvements to labelling and documentation.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016 and the Plugs & Sockets (Safety) Regulations 1994.
