Hazard

The product presents a risk of electric shock as when tested, a cable had been trapped and damaged in two places during assembly. Over time and multiple uses the wires inside the product could become dislodged and move, causing the already damaged internal cable to expose the inside copper wire. If the copper wire becomes live, this make accessible live parts live and give the user an electric shock.

The product does not meet the requirements of the Supply of Machinery (Safety) Regulations 2008.

Corrective action

The import has been rejected at the border and destroyed.
