Hazard
The product presents a high risk of electric shock as the product is inadequately earthed so accessible metal parts can become live. If the wires became loose and touched accessible metal parts, it could cause electric shocks to the consumer who would touch the conducting part. The product also failed the electric strength test. The instructions supplied with the product were inadequate as they did not contain sufficient information to ensure the correct and safe use of the equipment.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016 and the Supply of Machinery (Safety) Regulations 2008.
