Hazard
The product presents a serious risk of electric shock as the appliance is inadequately earthed. If the product is accidentally knocked or dropped, this would allow the wires to become loose and cause an electric shock to the user. The only means for temperature control was a thermostat. Should this fail in the closed position, there were no safety cut-outs to prevent severe overheating. The product has also not been accompanied by adequate instructions and safety information in a language easily understood by consumers and other end-users.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016

The product has been destroyed.
