Hazard
The product presents a serious risk of electric shock as the earth terminal had not been marked correctly or clamped adequately to be secured against accidental loosening. Therefore, the product could become unearthed, and if another technical fault were to occur, could cause the product to become live. The instructions were considered inadequate as they did not contain information to ensure that the equipment could be correctly and safely installed, used, and maintained.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016.
