Hazard

The product presents a serious risk of electric shock because the product failed the electric strength test, and the earthing fails due to inadequate earth bonding. The product did not require tools to access live parts, posing a risk of electrocution to the user. The plug face also did not meet the dimensional requirements of BS 1363 because the live/neutral pins were <9.5mm from the edge of the plug face, which can allow users to access live parts when unplugging, or plugging in, the plug from the socket.

The product does not meet the requirements of the Plugs & Sockets (Safety) Regulations 1994.
