The product presents a serious risk of electric shock as the transformer was of a poor build quality and did not meet the requirements for creepage and clearance.
The product features poor quality connections with wires soldered directly to component tails in a high vibration environment. The plug face also did not meet the dimensional requirements of BS 1363 because the distance from the outside edge to the live pin measured too small.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Supply of Machinery (Safety) Regulations 2008 or the Plugs and Sockets etc. (Safety) Regulations 1994.
