Summary

Wines belonging to the category of ‘appellation d’origine contrôlée’ or ‘appellation d’origine de qualité supérieure’ wines and comply additionally with the following requirements: – they are produced of grapes left in the sun or shade, – they are produced without enrichment, – have a natural alcoholic strength of at least 17% vol (or 300 grams of sugar per litre).
