Summary

“Port” wine with exceptional organoleptic characteristics, from a single harvest, red and full-bodied at the time of approval, very fine aroma and taste, recognised by Port and Douro Wine Institute with entitled to use the designation and corresponding date. The adoption of the name ‘Vintage’ starts in the second year following the harvest year and the last bottling must be made until 30 July of the third year from its harvest. The marketing can only take place from 1 May of the second year from its harvest. [Regulamento nº 36/2005, de 18.4.2005]
