Register an animal feed business

You must register your business with your local Trading Standards office if you make, sell or use animal feed.

The process is different if you’re in Northern Ireland

How to register

Follow these steps to register your animal feed business:

1. Read about registering and applying for approval on the Food Standards Agency website

2. Register your business with your local Trading Standards office. Find your nearest office using the postcode finder in the Trading Standards website
