Abstract

A powerpoint presentation given as part of the International Forum on Monitoring National Development: Issues and Challenges, held in Beijing, China, 27-29 September 2011. The presentation asked how international data sets on economic measurements (e.g. GDP, Labour, Productivity, Trade etc.) can be better monitored and improved through procedures like gap analysis. It also showed how they can be used to help identify economic structural differences over time.
