A stunting syndrome of Napier grass in Ethiopia is associated with a 16SrIII group phytoplasma

Abstract

This paper presents the first report of 16SrIII group phytoplasma (Candidatus) on Napier grass in Ethiopia. Stunting symptoms were observed in 2004. Nucleotide sequences of the pathogen were deposited in the GenBank with accession number DQ305977.
