Acceptability and feasibility of mental health interventions delivered by non-specialist health workers: systematic review.

Abstract

Despite task-sharing being a widely adopted strategy for scaling-up mental health care in LMIC, the poster concludes that it is not an outright solution for shortages of mental health specialists in LMIC. A host of factors have been identified for task-sharing to be successful and sustainable, with the main barrier being a lack of resources. The poster highlights the importance of increased investment in mental health care.
