Adaptation of Forests to Climate
Abstract
The approach of this forestry study is to draw from the considerable existing literature to provide perspective, as well as estimates and projections of the impacts of climate change on forests and forestry in various regions and countries. Based on the assessment of these projections, adaptation measures are suggested to mitigate damages likely to be incurred and identify adaptations that might be made. Preliminary cost estimates are made.
