Advances in improving adaptation of common bean and Brachiaria forage grasses to abiotic stress in the tropics

Abstract

This chapter examines the ways in which tropical and subtropical grasses such as those in the Brachiaria genus, are affected by abiotic stress. The overall aim of the article is to identify ways such crops can adapt to the forces of climate change for use as livestock fodder.
