Abstract
This second, updated edition is aimed at agricultural researchers, extension workers, students, lecturers and farmers who require practical information on the incidence and conservation of bollworm natural enemies and should have application in most parts of the African tropics. Detailed descriptions and illustrations of all life stages of Helicoverpa armigera are given followed by descriptions and illustrations of the natural enemy complex of H. armigera including predators, parasitoids and pathogens. Detailed information on pests similar to H. armigera is also provided to avoid misidentification. A species index is included.
