Assessing community health worker service delivery in humanitarian settings

A rapid review of the literature to inform the design of an evaluation of CHW service delivery in acute emergencies

Abstract

To inform the design of an evaluation of community health worker (CHW) service delivery in acute emergencies, the authors conducted a rapid review of the literature related to methods for assessing health service delivery in humanitarian settings. A number of key lessons were identified that can inform the future development of methods for assessing CHW service delivery in humanitarian settings.
