Abstract

The Chars Livelihoods Programme (CLP) is a livelihoods programme which aims to substantially reduce extreme poverty on the chars in North-Western Bangladesh. It provides a comprehensive package of support to the extremely poor, as well as extending support to the wider char community. Progress and objectives of phase 2 of the CLP are outlined.
