Building resilience and managing risk in fragile and conflict-affected states: Inception Report

Thematic evaluation of DFID’s multi-year approaches to humanitarian action in DR Congo, Ethiopia, Sudan and Yemen

Abstract

This inception report sets out the approach, work-plan and practical arrangements for the thematic evaluation of DFID’s multi-year humanitarian funding. The thematic evaluation will take place in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Ethiopia and Sudan, and possibly one other country. It builds on the terms of reference and 6 months of scoping work, including evaluability assessments of the 4 countries.

A report was published in May 2017 which presents interim findings from the study to date on the Value for Money of multi-year humanitarian funding and contingency funding: Value for Money of Multi-Year Humanitarian Funding: Emerging Findings (PDF, 348KB)
