Abstract

A key element of Brazil’s climate finance architecture is dedicated to reducing emissions from deforestation and degradation (REDD). This paper discusses the overall framework, arrangements using public resources, and arrangements aimed at encouraging private sector investment. An overview of Brazil’s domestic climate finance arrangements is presented in tabular form.
