Abstract

The scale of low-carbon investment in China is immense. According to one report China accounts for nearly a quarter of all global investment into renewable energy. This paper discusses the overall framework, arrangements using public resources, and arrangements aimed at encouraging private sector investment. An overview of China’s domestic climate finance arrangements is presented in tabular form.
