Coded wire tags for batch marking in tilapia
Abstract
This study reports the results of a simple experiment conducted at the Asian Institute of Technology in Thailand, designed to compare retention rates for coded wire tag (CWT) and fin clip positions in juvenile tilapia. The results of this trial are important with regard to tagging broodstock and for communally stocked growth comparisons, which are essential tools in breeding programs for improving fish species.
