Democratic Republic of Congo (Congo-DRC) and Republic of Congo (Congo) Country Study
Abstract
Many types of operators compete to deliver informal remittances between France and the two Congos: the Democratic Republic of Congo (Congo-DRC) and the Republic of Congo (Congo). Results drawn from the analysis of the relationship between these three countries can be applied to activity between other European and ACP countries.
This report begins with an introduction and methodology, and then chapters as follows: definition of 'informal' and 'funds', the importance of the Congolese diaspora in informal remittances , from the circulation of money to its disappearance, and finally, conclusion: informal remittances and development.
