Abstract
Although the BRICS countries could choose to finance projects bilaterally, a number of interests have pushed them towards the establishment of the New Development Bank. This report discusses this bank, established to meet infrastructure investment needs in the developing world, and also considers other development financing initiatives and development banks from the BRICS.
