Gender and Equity in Bioenergy Access and Delivery in Kenya.
Abstract
Access to bioenergy resources is discussed in relation to gender. Background topics introduced include gender and equity, gender perspectives on energy in the developing world, andlinkages between gender, energy and poverty. The report then considers: Bioenergy access and delivery systems; The gender perspective of bioenergy supply systems; Key gender issues; Policy dimensions; and Gender related issues of biofuel development.
