Good Practices in Humanitarian Assistance: Zimbabwe
Abstract
The Good Practice Paper series of the NGOs and Humanitarian Reform Project aims to highlight examples of practices identified within the project’s four focus countries (Afghanistan, Democratic Republic of Congo, Ethiopia and Zimbabwe), that contribute to effective implementation of the humanitarian reform agenda. This paper focuses on the Strategic Advisory Group (SAG) of the Water Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) Cluster in Zimbabwe. The paper highlights the SAG as an example of good practice that demonstrates ways in which NGOs, including local and national NGOs, can be included in the strategic decision-making processes of the cluster, demonstrating the PoP spirit of partnership.
