Guidelines for Low Bandwidth Websites

Abstract

Bandwidth in many developing and transitional countries can be extremely expensive and what is available is often unable to meet local demands and support optimal usage. Creating bandwidth friendly websites can help ease this problem, creating a better experience for the end user by enabling faster access to, and download of, information. This report gives guidelines for how to make information more accessible to low bandwidth users.
