This toolkit addresses the various steps of the monitoring and evaluation process of policy influence
Abstract
Under the ‘Spaces for Engagement: using knowledge to improve public decisions’ programme, GDNet and CIPPEC have produced different types of resources addressing the link between research and policy, and aiming at building southern researchers' capacity to maximize their research uptake. The toolkit ‘How can we monitor and evaluate policy influence?’ addresses the various steps of the monitoring and evaluation process of policy influence: the organizational assessment; basis for an M and E strategy; defining indicators to measure results; data collection methods and knowledge management, among others.
This toolkit is available in English, Spanish (Guía Nº 1. Por qué monitorear y evaluar la incidencia) and Arabic.
