Abstract

This article explores whether investment in research training affects the development of research networks and collaborations. The Fogarty International Center has supported overseas research training programmes for over 20 years. The authors examine whether FIC’s investment in research training contributed to the development of networks and collaborations. The article focuses on Uganda and Kenya.
