Abstract

Under the Spaces for Engagement: using knowledge to improve public decisions programme, GDNet and CIPPEC have produced different types of resources addressing the link between research and policy, and aiming at building southern researcher's capacity to maximize their research uptake. The toolkit How to design a policy influence plan addresses various components of a public policy influence plan: what an influence plan is and why it is important; the policy making context; influence objectives, actors and alliances; strategies and communication; resources and timeline, among others.

Toolkit No.1: What is an influence plan. Why should we plan. is also available in Spanish: Guía N°1 Qué es un plan de incidencia. Por qué planificar.
