How to carry out the proposal: Define strategies and actions

This forms part of 'How to design a policy influence plan. Toolkit No.7'

Abstract

Under the ‘Spaces for Engagement: using knowledge to improve public decisions’ programme, GDNet and CIPPEC have produced different types of resources addressing the link between research and policy, and aiming at building southern researcher’s capacity to maximise their research uptake. The toolkit ‘How to design a policy influence plan’ addresses various components of a public policy influence plan: what an influence plan is and why it is important; the policy making context; influence objectives, actors and alliances; strategies and communication; resources and timeline, among others.

Toolkit No.7: How to carry out the proposal. Define strategies and actions is also available in Spanish: Guía N°7 Cómo llevar adelante la propuesta. Definir las estrategias y acciones.
