Abstract

This document provides an overview of RESYST research relating to expanding fiscal space for health through increasing the effectiveness of tax collection systems.

In addition to explaining the importance of increasing domestic resources for health care, this overview provides summaries of the three RESYST research projects in Kenya, South Africa and Nigeria.
