Abstract

This report describes existing and potentially appropriate data collection and sharing mechanisms to meet the information requirements of local communities engaged in co-management of the fishery of Lake George in Uganda. The mechanism and institutional arrangements for co-management have been developed for Lake George, and this report focuses on the achievements there.
