Abstract

This document summarizes the problem of visceral leshmaniasis and describes the work of DNDi and its partners in developing new treatments: the search for new lead compounds, the preclinical development of new formulations of amphotericin B, and clinical trials of combination therapy in South Asia, Africa and Latin America.
