Draws on politics, systems and development domains to analyse urban development in Kampala, Uganda.
Abstract
This paper draws on the African Cities Research Consortium’s holistic framework components (politics, systems and development domains) to analyse urban development in Kampala city. It shows that national and city-level politics, urban systems and particular configurations of actors, agencies, ideas and practices have shaped development.
