Las Metodologías Participativas, la Competitividad y la Innovación [Participative Methods, competitiveness and Innovation]
Abstract
In this leaflet, a brief summary is presented of the evidences on participative approaches tested by the Alianza Cambio Andino (Andean Exchange Alliance) as having contributed to the most innovative and competitive small producers of the agricultural sector in the Andean region. The results provide evidence of improvement in competitiveness of peasant agriculture, promoting better quality and better coordination of a whole group of production chain, through generation of innovations. To illustrate the referred impacts, application of the method Enfoque Participative de Cadenas Productivas-EPCP (Participative Market Chain Approach) in the potato chain, in Peru, in presented.
