Mapping landscapes: integrating GIS and social science methods to model human-nature relationships in Southern Cameroon

Abstract

In the South of Cameroon, FLORES (Forest Land Orientated Resources Envisioning System) modelling techniques were tested at the edge of the humid forest forming the Congo basin. The objective was to investigate the effects of agricultural innovations on the forest-agriculture interface.
