Case study on a mentoring exercise which helped 100 journalists improve their health reporting skills

Abstract

This is a case study describing media mentoring exercise in Nepal where COMDIS programme helped more than 100 journalists improve their health reporting skills. Following sessions by expert tutors and field visits to local slum areas to understand the health issues faced by marginalised communities, several participants have gone on to win reporting awards.
