Abstract

This document is the report prepared by the survey research team for the project at the Institute of Development Studies, Jaipur in India. It is the product of village-level work in two Indian states (Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan) conducted in late 2008 and early 2009. It contains the quantified results of the survey, the team’s textual comments on them, and a complete list of the questions in the survey.
