Parents' and Teachers' Attitudes to Adolescent Sexual Behaviour in Lesotho.

Abstract

Brief notes are presented on a study investigating the knowledge, attitudes and opinions of parents and teachers on various aspects of adolescents' reproductive health in Lesotho. Data were collected using focus group discussions. Thirty-six focus groups were conducted in three districts of Lesotho namely Maseru, Mohale's Hoek and Mokhotlong, during June and July 2000. The findings and policy implications of the study are discussed, and the full reference is given.
