Piloting a Second Tier of Core Participant Households
Abstract
The second phase of the Chars Livelihoods Programme (CLP) began on 1 April 2010. As an initial study concluded that there may not be enough households meeting the very strict selection critieria for extreme poverty required for inclusion as core households, it was suggested that a second tier of households meeting less stringent critieria could be used. This briefing discusses a pilot study of second tier households.
