Poverty Reduction Strategy Review. Country Case: Nicaragua
Abstract
This study reviews the literature to examine, with respect to Nicaragua, whether policies to reduce chronic poverty articulated in poverty reduction strategies (PRS) are actually implemented in practice, and with what results? The overall conclusion is that it seems the policies, projects and programmes of the public sector are having little impact on poverty.
