Abstract

This document should be read in conjunction with the Thematic Paper 3.1 - Water Saving in Irrigated Agriculture and Advisory Note 3.1.1 - Agricultural Water Saving Techniques. Advisory Note 3.1.1 introduces water saving experiences, analyzes crop water demand and agricultural water saving potential and develops locally appropriate agricultural water-saving techniques for use at Water Affairs Bureau/Water Management Station (WAB/WMS) level.

This Advisory Note has the following sections:
