Abstract

PPLPI conducted a program in Orissa and Andhra Pradesh, India which identified a number of pro-poor livestock policies, animal health service reforms in particular. Due to political factors, Andhra Pradesh became the focus of efforts towards service reform, an area in which the government also desired improvement.

This report describes the main partners and linkages, and the methodology of the project, spanning a period from December 2003 to 2006.
