Protocol - How effective are cash transfer programs at improving nutritional status?

Protocol for a rapid evidence assessment

Abstract

This is the protocol for a review which will summarize the state of the evidence regarding the question: Do cash transfer programmes improve recipients' nutritional status? Which intervening variables facilitate or limit the effects of transfers? The focus will be on height for age for longer term interventions and weight for age for shorter, as indicators of nutritional status. The protocol provides background information and details of the methods to be used.
